An explanation
The two verbs 'do' and 'make' are often confused. The meanings are similar, but there are differences. 'Do' for Activities
Use the verb 'do' to express daily activities or jobs. Notice that these are usually activities that produce no physical object.
일상적인 활동이나 일을 할때 'do'를 씁니다.
어떤 구체적인 물건을 만드는 행위를 할 때는 'do'를 쓰지 않아요.

'Do' for General Ideas
Use the verb 'do' when speaking about things in general. In other words, when we do not exactly name an activity. This form is often used with the words 'something, nothing, anything, everything, etc.'
구체적인 활동을 언급하지 않거나 막연한 활동을 할 때 'do'를 쓰는데 보통 'something, nothing, anything, everything과 함께 쓰여요.
I'm not doing anything today.
He does everything for his mother.
She's doing nothing at the moment.
Important expressions with 'Do' (주요 표현)
There are a number of standard expressions that take the verb 'do'.
These are standard collocations (verb + noun combinations) that are used in English.
do one's best
do good (도움이 된다)
do harm (해가 된다.)
do a favor (호의를 베풀다, 부탁을 들어 주다)
do business (사업을 하다.)

'Make' for Construct ing, Building, Creating
Use 'make' to express an activity that creates something that you can touch.
보통 무언가 만질 수 있는 유형의 것을 만들 때 make를 씁니다.

make a mess (어지럽히다.)
